Located in upstate New York, in Schoharie County, Iona Troupe entertains audiences throughout the region at fairs, festivals and other community and private events. The troupe, comprised of youths through adults, shares a singular passion for Irish dance as a performing art. Towards that end, the troupe masters and exhibits Irish step and ceili dancing, including jigs, reels, hornpipes, slip jigs, and treble reels and jigs. Dancing choreographies set to contemporary and traditional tunes of some of the finest music on earth, Iona Troupe fills the stage with melodious sights and sound of joy and beauty.
